SAHR Templer book prize shortlist released

The SAHR is pleased to announce the shortlist for the 2024 Templer Medal and the associated Chapple Prize for best first book. These awards, which recognise the best recent work on the history of the British Army and associated forces, are sponsored by the Society in partnership with the National Army Museum.

All the above books are eligible for the Templer Medal but only those marked with an asterisk are eligible for the Chapple Prize.
