SAHR Fiction Prize shortlist announced

The SAHR Council has approved the judges' decision to shortlist the following three titles for the 2020-2021 SAHR Prize for Military Fiction:
Blood Oath, by Malcolm Archibald (Next Chapter)
The Tigress of Mysore, by Allan Mallinson (Penguin)
Over the Hills to Talavera, written by Stephen Petty, illustrated by Christa Hook (Chosen Man Media)
Due to the very small number of entries received for this round of the competition, it has been decided that a prize will only be awarded to the winning title. The winner will be announced on Friday 17 September. In the meantime, look out on our social media platforms for more details of the three shortlisted titles.
Entries are now open for the 2021-2022 round of the competition.
