Malvern Festival of Military History
Friday 5th - Sunday 7th October 2018
SAHR was delighted to have a stand at the Malvern Festival of Military History. Over the three days of the festival, there was a wide-ranging set of talks and panel discussions on subjects including Agincourt' the First and Second World Wars, small wars and insurgencies in the twentieth century' the English Civil War' the colonial campaigns of the nineteenth century' seapower across the ages' Napoleon, and Waterloo. Each day ended with celebrated authors talking about their new books - Sir Max Hastings on Vietnam, Andrew Roberts on Churchill and Lord Ashdown on the numerous conspiracies against Hitler. All of those attending were greatly impressed by the quality of the speakers and the friendly atmosphere that pervaded the event.
