You cannot print the articles from the FlippingBook.
Can I access the electronic Journal from multiple devices ?
Yes, you can use your SAHR email username and FlippingBook password from each device you want to use.
When is the electronic Journal published ?
We aim to publish it at the same time as the printed Journal is despatched from our printer.
How quickly do I get access once I subscribe to buy an issue ?
We aim to ensure you have access as quickly as possible, generally within 3-4 working days. It's not instant because there is a manual element to the processing of orders.
Members who join the Society at mid- year and choose the Digital Subscription will be given access to all of those Journals already issued that year in electronic format within a few days, and will receive notifications in the normal way when future Journals are published.
The Journal is regularly published in the middle of March, June, September and December.
How do I access the electronic Journal once purchased ?
Once your initial order is processed, you will receive an email from FlippingBook Cloud (noreply@cld.bz) with your unique FlippingBook password for accessing the electronic Journal. Your username is your SAHR email address. That will be followed by an email from flippingbook@henryling.co.uk with an invite to view your purchased issue(s). For subsequent issues you will receive emails from flippingbook@henryling.co.uk advising you that a new issue is available to view. Your FlippingBook password remains the same to access all issues, unless you change it. To ensure there are no delays in you receiving this information we suggest that after you subscribe you add the following email addresses to the safe sender/whitelist feature of your email software (check the instructions for your software); noreply@cld.bz, flippingbook@henryling.co.uk and noreply@flippingbook.com.
When you receive an invitation email to view a Journal online, click the image of the Journal cover to open the publication. If you are not already logged-in to FlippingBook you will need to enter your SAHR email address and your FlippingBook password. If you are copying and pasting your email address/password into the box, please ensure no spaces are included before or after, just the email address/password.
Is the email address I submit when I purchase a Digital Subscription to the electronic Journal important ?
Yes, your unique FlippingBook password will only work with the email address you have on record in the SAHR membership database.
What if I forget, or wish to change my FlippingBook password ?
If you forget your FlippingBook password you can click the 'Forgot Password?' link on https://cld.bz. Enter your SAHR email address and a new password will be emailed to you at that address.
You can choose to change your FlippingBook password to something of your choosing by logging in to https://cld.bz and then clicking on the Account link at the top of the page. Enter your new FlippingBook password twice and save the changes as prompted.
How do I log-out of FlippingBook ?
If you are logged in to FlippingBook and wish to log out, then go to https://cld.bz. This will take you to the 'dashboard'. Click on your username in the top right hand corner and choose 'log-out'.
To which issues can I get access?
All issues of the Journal will be published in FlippingBook format from 1st January 2022, alongside the printed version. You can subscribe at any time.
When those past issues of the Journal are later uploaded to our digital archive in JSTOR, they will no longer be available in FlippingBook.
We have digitised the Winter 2021 Journal so that members considering the option of a Digital Subscription for 2022 and afterwards, can review that issue as a "Try-before-you-buy" exercise.
Can I purchase it from anywhere in the world?
The electronic Journal can be purchased from anywhere worldwide that is outside the European Union. Under the 2015 EU Digital Content VAT rules, we cannot sell our electronic Journals to customers within the EU at this time.
Is the electronic Journal only available on Digital Subscription or can I buy single electronic issues?
The electronic versions of the Journal are only available via our Digital Subscription, and cannot be purchased as single issues.
Is the content the same as the printed version ?
Yes. However, the electronic Journal also includes features, such as live web links and searchable text, which are not possible in the print version. Please be aware that some URLs may not work (especially in older issues) if the destination address is no longer valid.
Will the copyright be the same as for the print version of the Journal?
Yes, it is exactly the same Journal with the same copyrights.
What happens when my Digital Subscription ends ?
You can continue to access the issues of the electronic Journal that you have purchased previously, but only until those issues are transferred to the JSTOR archive. You will not be invited to access any new issues.
What happens if I re-start my Digital Subscription ?
You will be able to access the electronic Journal issues that you purchased previously until those issues are transferred to the JSTOR archive, which you will be able access in the same way all members are able to now.
New issues will be available to you from the restart of your subscription.
