Mr Rohan Saravanamuttu
Rohan Saravanamuttu studied biochemistry at the University of Kent at Canterbury where he graduated in 1980. He went on to become a Chartered Accountant and had a long career in financial services. After retiring, he studied for an MA in the History of War at the Department of War Studies, Kings College London where he graduated with distinction in 2017.
Rohan was a contributor to The Encylcopedia of the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars (Fremont-Barnes, G. (ed), ABC Clio, Santa Barbara 2006). His first book was published by Helion in 2022 and is called Leipzig – The Battle of the nations: A wargamer’s guide to the battle of Leipzig 1813.
Rohan was co-opted onto the SAHR Council in December 2022 and was elected to be Hon.Treasurer in April 2023.

Responsibilities : Maintaining the financial accounts of the Society. Filing the accounts and annual return with the Charities Commission and the Gift Aid Return with the HMRC. Producing the annual budget.
