Templer Lecture - Waterloo: The Campaign of 1815

We are delighted that John Hussey, who was awarded the Templer Medal for his book 'Waterloo: The Campaign of 1815', has agreed to deliver this year’s Templer Lecture. It will take place at The Army & Navy Club, St James Square, Pall Mall at 7pm on Mon 12 Nov 2018.
The event is only open to SAHR members, and it is free. Each member is welcome to bring one guest. Please register via this link.

After reading History at Cambridge, John Hussey spent 30 years working for BP around the world, including the Congo in the 1960s and Nigeria in the 1970s. He was awarded an OBE in 1971. He has written many articles on British military history, and is the author of 'Marlborough: Hero of Blenheim' (Weidenfeld & Nicolson, 2004). He is a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
