Eamonn O'Keeffe

Eamonn O'Keeffe recently completed an MPhil at the University of Cambridge with a dissertation on honour, duelling and courts-martial in the early nineteenth-century British army. He will be commencing a PhD on British military music during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars in October 2018.

Eamonn joined Council in December 2016. He has published several articles in the JSAHR and elsewhere, primarily on military music and courts-martial. He also edited the memoir of a Napoleonic-era Coldstream Guards sergeant, The Eventful Life of Thomas Jackson, which was published in March 2018.

Eamonn shares some of his research on his personal blog, 1812 and all that.
